Good news! We are launching a new version of Seotronix. We have completely redesigned our logo and our entire corporate identity.

I want to thank our team who have worked very hard to make this possible. They transformed a difficult process into something enjoyable. I would also like to thank our customers, who over the years have helped us to identify our strengths and weaknesses, making us grow day by day.

A bit of our history

In 2012, while we were studying electronic engineering, Gastón Riera and I started “working online”, which was more like trying to get a few extra dollars per month in some unusual way. At that time, everything was very different from what it is today, for example, mobile traffic was not prevalent today, and the techniques used for SEO or attracting users were very different from what we use today.

Buying and selling websites, which we monetized with Google Adsense and CPA networks, we took our first steps learning Wordpress, databases, servers, hosting, HTML / CSS / JS programming, emails and domains. It was also the beginning of belonging to a community, full of other freelancers from all over Latin America who were passionate about being “webmasters” and living -or at least trying to- from their Internet earnings.

Over time we continued to learn and perfect techniques, while learning new ways to monetize our websites. In 2017 we started to package tasks and offer SEO services to acquaintances, who had a problem that remained from that moment until today. They had a website that no one was visiting and they needed help to improve their visibility and brand positioning in Google.

However, our service was characterized by a deep technical approach (both electronic engineers), and above all by being 100% honest with our client, telling him the real opportunities he had with the money invested.

One client brought another and so, little by little, we decided to form a partnership to complete the professionalization of our service.

We needed a name and a logo, and with a little effort, the following emerged:

Old Seotronix logo

Clearly our forte was not graphic design.

We liked the idea of “Digital Engineering” as a slogan or tagline, since we had a strong technical focus in an area dominated by marketing.

With similar colors and aesthetics, we put together our first version of a website, which we used to explain in a very basic way our services. At that time, seotronix.com was registered, so we had to settle for seotronix.net. Eventually seotronix.com expired and we were able to register it. I could not find records on Archive.org for this version of the site, which did not live long and which we migrated to seotronix.com in a few months.

First redesign in 2018

We quickly understood that the web was our commercial “showcase” and we had to take care of it. For this great reason, we decided to start working on a new version, with a better design and content. Still without many resources to hire a professional design, we opted to buy a template for the website in ThemeForest, and adapt the design to something “ours”. The logo was made with Canva, with a much better design than the previous one:

Without being our forte in the graphic design area, we changed the typography, a growing “Analytics” symbol above the brand name and a light blue bar below it, because it seemed to us that “something was missing”. This version of the logo and the website at that time can be consulted in the historical records of the Internet.

This logo and web design remained for a long time, without convincing us 100% but knowing that at some point, when it was the right one, we were going to improve it.

Between 2018 and 2021, we greatly improved our service, creating internal structures and processes, templates and a large number of tools needed to grow. A lot of people went through to achieve the team we have today. From forming a team of two in 2018, we grew to thirteen at the time of writing. Speaking of the team, Gastón decided to continue working on his own, although he has always been a reference person in our technical staff.

Today, we decided on a complete redesign of the brand and website. We began an extensive and thorough process to design a new brand, trying to reflect our value proposition, our mission in a new image and external communication.

Seotronix 2022 logo

The new logo design has several differences with respect to the previous one.

  • On the one hand, it marks a cut with different letter weights for “seo” and “tronix”. This reinforces our main service with more thickness, while leaving a fine print indicating clarity and simplicity for the rest of the brand name.
  • The symbolism of Analytics, we chose to leave it from the bottom to the top, placing it at the end in the letter “X”, referring to the fact that the metrics of our customers grow after working with us.
  • A new color palette is chosen. The main color is blue, which gives the feeling of seriousness, commitment, confidence, while red/magenta is an accent that gives modernity and dynamism.

The new logo together with the new brand manual, allowed us to reflect the quality and level of professionalism that we currently have in our organization, showing once again our constant search for growth.

Our path of improving Google search results, positioning our clients, also leads us to make users find the content they are looking for more efficiently.

With each client we work a lot on the creation of content and we try to make it the best possible answer to the user’s search. In this way, we help people find what they are looking for more quickly and efficiently, contributing our grain of sand for a better world.

That is our commitment to the future.
